NewstrAid’s care home – Barnetson Court, in Great Dunmow, Essex, provides high quality residential care for 16 people.

The care home is recognised as one of the preferred choices for elderly people in this part of Essex. Priority will always be given to ex-members of the News Trade, but applications are accepted for private clients if there are vacancies available.

Old Ben Homes

Sheltered accommodation is provided by Old Ben Homes in Shropshire and East Sussex.

Valley Rise in Seaford, East Sussex, boasts 44 separate bungalows with a warden and communal meeting facility. These bungalows are situated in close proximity to the town centre and sea front. All tenants must provide a News Trade connection.

The Old Hall in Lilleshall, Shropshire is set in glorious English countryside. The flats overlook beautiful grounds, which include a fine lake. Like Seaford, there is a warden and a central communal meeting room in the Old Hall. Half the tenants have a News Trade connection and the remainder are allocated accommodation through Wrekin Council.
