SUMMARY:NewstrAid 185th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt 2024
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate our 185th year we are hosting a nationwide Scavenger Hunt event on Thursday 6th June 4.30pm – 6.30pm. Teams of 4-6 are welcome to join from any town in the UK. All you will need is a smartphone or tablet to unlock the clues! \nWhether you are based in John O’Groats\, Lands End or somewhere in between\, you can take part. Simply register your team\, pay the entry fee and let us know where you will be taking part. You can then download the Mobile Adventures app on your phone/tablet\, ready to take part on June 6th. \nOn the day \nFollowing an informative 15-minute briefing on Zoom\, you will be given a special code that will then unlock the GPS locations in your area so you can complete the scavenger hunt tasks.  At the end of the time limit\, the experience will wrap up with a fun results session with all the teams participating on Zoom. \nFind out more details\, including how to register your team\, by downloading the flyer: Scavenger Hunt \nWhy not help us to celebrate our 185th year and join teams from all over the UK for this special event!

SUMMARY:Thames Valley Area Committee Golf Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 18th Thames Valley Area Committee Newstraid Golf Tournament to be held on Wednesday 12th June at Farleigh Golf Club nr Warlingham\, Surrey. \nBreakfast & registration will be from 08:00 then the day’s event will start from 09:00 with a 9 hole Texas Scramble competition to get everyone in the swing for the main event. As usual the Main event will be an 18 Hole Stableford Competition that will take place in the afternoon (1st tee 12.00pm) competing for the Newstraid Trophies. This will also incorporate a fun team event.
