Area Committee Awards 2023

The following awards were presented as the NewstrAid AGM on 28th June 2023.

Awarded to the Shires Area Committee for increasing lottery income by 44% over the last 4 years.

Awarded to the Wessex Area Committee for consistently organising a large number of fundraising events throughout the year.

Awarded to the East Midlands Area Committee who continue to raise impressive amounts of money and help to keep the NewstrAid brand front of mind across the industry.

Awarded to the Surrey & Sussex Area Committee who, having had no members at the start of 2022, have now established a new committee of 9 members under the leadership off John Bardsley.

Awarded to the North West Area Committee for raising the most money during 2022.

Awarded to Parin Gohil who has provided a wide range of support to NewstrAid during his relatively short association with the Charity.

Awarded to the North West Area Committee for raising £147,000.

Awarded to the Scottish Area Committee for raising £130,000.

Awarded to the Thames Valley Area Committee for raising £117,000.

Awarded to the West Midlands Area Committee for raising £116,000.

Awarded to the East of England Area Committee for raising £82,000.

Awarded to the South West & Wales Area Committee for raising £73,000.

Awarded to the London East Area Committee for raising £49,000.

Awarded to the East Midlands Area Committee for raising £44,000.

Awarded to the Shires Area Committee for raising £43,000.

Awarded to the Wessex Area Committee for raising £38,000.

Awarded to the Surrey & Sussex Area Committee for raising £35,000.

Awarded to the North East Area Committee for raising £23,000.

Awarded to the Fred Pehzman (West Midlands Area Committee).

Awarded to Mike Hopkins (The Shires Area Committee).
