The following awards were presented at the NewstrAid AGM on 25th June 2025.

The Lord Riddell Shield

Awarded to the Wessex Area Committee for the best contribution to Head Office over the last 4 years.

The Mirror Group Salver

Awarded for the second year running to the East of England Area Committee for their flagship Sea Fishing event.

The Sunday Mirror Challenge Cup

Awarded to the Scottish Area Committee for their successful Curry night in Glasgow.

The Joe Llewellyn-Jones salver

Awarded to the East of England Area Committee who successfully recruited new members to work alongside existing members.

The David Mackay Quaich

Awarded to the North West Area Committee for the most money raised in 2024.

Sir Simon Hornby Trophy

Awarded to Dave Martin for cooperation with Head Office during the year.

Awarded to the North West Area Committee for raising £127,000.

Awarded to the Scottish Area Committee for raising £121,000.

Awarded to the West Midlands Area Committee for raising £103,000.

Awarded to the South Wales & South West Area Committee for raising £84,000.

Awarded to Chris Shuttleworth for his strong leadership as chair of the West Midlands Committee, his excellent work as a Welfare Volunteer and his ongoing support of NewstrAid through promotion and advocacy in his role at Smiths News.
