NewsTeam Conference Raises £1,000 for Industry Charity NewstrAid for the third consecutive year.

For the third consecutive year, NewsTeam has proudly raised £1,000 in support of NewstrAid, the charity dedicated to helping people from the newstrade facing financial or emotional hardship.

The funds were raised through a charity raffle held during the Suonal/NewsTeam Annual Conference in Rhodes in May 2026. The event brought together 100 delegates from across the business for a programme of presentations, workshops and networking activities, with attendees generously supporting the fundraising initiative.

Neil Jagger, CEO of NewstrAid, commented:

“We were delighted to be a small part of the Suonal/NewsTeam Annual Conference in Rhodes. Raising £1,000 through the conference raffle is a fantastic achievement and we are extremely grateful to the 100 delegates whose generosity will help us continue providing vital support to those who need it most.”

The funds raised will help NewstrAid continue to provide financial assistance, emotional support and wellbeing services to current and former newstrade workers across the UK.
