NewsTeam Raises £1,000 for Industry Charity NewstrAid for the Second Year Running

For the second consecutive year, newspaper and magazine delivery specialists NewsTeam have proudly raised £1,000 in support of NewstrAid, the charity dedicated to helping people from the newstrade facing financial or emotional hardship.

The impressive total was collected during NewsTeam’s recent company conference in Paphos, Cyprus, which brought together team members for a series of presentations, workshops, and a lively fundraising evening. The event concluded with a charity raffle that saw delegates dig deep to support NewstrAid’s vital work.

Neil Jagger, CEO of NewstrAid, commented: “We were delighted to be part of NewsTeam’s conference once again. It was a fantastic opportunity to share updates on how we’re supporting people across the news industry who may be struggling. The generosity shown by everyone who contributed to the fundraising efforts is truly heartwarming, and we’re incredibly grateful for their continued support.”

The funds raised will help NewstrAid continue its mission of providing financial assistance, emotional support, and wellbeing services to current and former newstrade workers across the UK.
