NewstrAid Launches 2022 Christmas Card Competition for Industry Children

NewstrAid is running a competition to find a design for their 2022 Christmas card.

The competition is open to anyone aged 14 or under who is connected to someone who works or has worked in the sale and distribution of newspapers and magazines. The deadline for entries is Friday 28th October.

Sinead Flood, Welfare Manager for NewstrAid said, “Any child under 14 years who is connected to someone from the industry can enter. That connection can be through grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins or parents.

As well as seeing their design printed and used as the official NewstrAid card for 2022, the winning artist will receive a £50 Amazon voucher and the 2 runners up will each receive £25 vouchers.

Sinead Flood added “We run this competition each year and love receiving all the creative entries through the post. Choosing the winning design is always the most difficult part and we are really looking forward to seeing what designs the entrants come up with this year!

How to enter:

  • Send your best festive drawings by Fri 28th October, to Georgia Cannon, NewstrAid, Suite 2, Thremhall Estate, Start Hill, Bishop’s Stortford, CM22 7TD
  • Please include your nameageaddress and your connection to the news trade
  • All entrants must be aged 14 or under
