What is Woolly Wednesday?

Woolly Wednesday is an awareness day that promotes the support available from NewstrAid for those struggling to cover the cost of heating over the winter.

When does it take place?

In 2024 Woolly Wednesday will take place on Wednesday 30^th October. This coincides with the distribution of NewstrAid’s Winter Comfort grant which provides around 400 of the charity’s beneficiaries with a small financial boost to help them stay warm during the colder months.
